No. The ServiceM8 Phone Agent picks up on your existing SM8 number. We set up its FAQs, overflow rules, and job cards so calls land as real jobs. One phone bill, through SM8.
ServiceM8 runs your jobs and phone (Basic ~$78/mo or Pro ~$128/mo). TooledUp is $111/mo on Basic or $171/mo on Pro for automation and tuning. Two invoices if you use both.
For Basic and Pro, yes — a 3-week free trial before the first TooledUp charge. AI Voicemail and Add-ons are month-to-month and bill from day one, with no lock-in and no exit fee. ServiceM8 still bills separately on its own plan.
Setup labour is included at $0 upfront. Minimum TooledUp term is 24 months from your first paid month. Cancel early and an exit fee applies based on months remaining.
Two lighter options: AI Voicemail ($49/mo, no ServiceM8 at all) if you just need calls answered, or Add-ons ($129/mo) if you already run ServiceM8 and want the automation layer without a full rebuild. Both are month-to-month, no 24-month term. You can move up to Basic or Pro any time.
